the workers, have seized the means of production. this week media giant cbs unveiled it's latest model of production: a creation of 30 year old memos now brought to light concerning president george w. bush's (r-tx) national guard service record.
wednesday night's roll out was unremarkable, dan rather, top cbs front man read the story as he had thousands of others. the next morning other owners of media production, most notably the new york times, prepared to participate in the usual orderly distribution of product, again unremarkable and as per long tradition, to the waiting worker/consumer.
an unforeseen day dawned, a sea change had occurred, the product was deconstructed by consumers armed with tools and resources greater than or equal to the former owners of production. e pluribus unum, out of many came one, and like the bundled reeds of the ancient fasces came strength. world consensus the product contained fatal errors.
cbs has as of this writing yet to admit the obvious, the shackles are broken, and the scales have fallen from our eyes.
