Branson Remembers, Honors Veterans. BRANSON, Mo., Nov. 9, 2006 – More than 50,000 veterans and their families are expected to attend the 13th Annual Veterans Homecoming event, which kicked off Nov. 5 in Branson, Mo. This year's Veterans Day poster designer honed his artistic skills through VA’s Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program.Illustrating Veterans Day, Nearly 100,000 service-disabled veterans call on VA each year for assistance in preparing for the world of work, finding and keeping fulfilling jobs and maximizing their independence.
