I find the commercial in poor taste and have sent Geoff a note of support. This negative campaign tactic, even though not endorsed or approved by any candidate, will do more harm than good. Three unknowns asking him to get help - get real - no one knows these sad-sally-faced whiners are. People will see this commercial exactly what it's worth - a cheap shot at a Dad who was trying to get to his daughter with an ex-wife blocking his path. Cheap Shot - really cheap shot.
You mean these three women are really concerned that Geoff might close a door angrily. Its actually sort of an insult to real domestic violence victims. Also how come they all have to be women. Men don't care about violence and abuse. Also from the newspaper article I read it sounds like a mutual conflict. Why is the man always the one who is wrong. Why not vote for Nancy Wyatt or Hargrove because you believe in them. Why not run some adds explaining what they would do as state representative. Geoff Simpson responded to a 911 call where a father murdered his wife and was planning on murdering their child. Instead of waiting for police which is the proper procedure he took an axe and went into the house and rescued the child at grave risk to his own life. Have some respect for a real American hero
