the nypost reported today by way of "obtained memo" that the air security forces associated with the republican national convention in new york city this august 30 through september 2 will conduct a joint exercise "republican national convention air space exercise" in the area this evening beginning at 6:00 pm. norad f-15 eagles, coast guard dolphin and nypd helicopters are expected to participate. an exercise goal of integration of combined arms and projection of force seems reasonable.
