Washington, DC - Kerry-Edwards campaign spokesperson Stephanie Cutter released the following statement today in response to comments made by Terry Holt and Nicolle Devenish of the Bush-Cheney campaign:

“In two sentences, Nicole Devenish and Terry Holt articulated why George Bush is unfit for another four years in the White House. In spite of all the mistakes he has made, George Bush refuses to hold himself accountable and stubbornly clings to failed policies that have taken the country in the wrong direction. America doesn’t need a president who governs the land of make believe.”
