USA TODAY/CNN/GALLUP Poll Shows Bush 49% and Kerry 46% in Florida

MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY/CNN/GALLUP have released the results of a poll of likely voters in the battleground state of Florida.The results show that of likely voters in that state, George W. Bush has 49%of the vote to John Kerry's 46% of the vote. Ralph Nader received 2% of thevote.

The poll of 674 likely voters, conducted September 18 - 22, has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

In addition to nationwide polls, USA TODAY/CNN/GALLUP is tracking the support for the candidates in the closely contested states likely to decide the 2004 election.
