AHRQ National Advisory Council To Meet April 15

The National Advisory Council for Healthcare Research and Quality will meet on Friday, April 15. The Council provides advice to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality on matters related to AHRQ's customers and health services researchers.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin with an update on the status of the Agency's current research, programs, and initiatives. The Council will discuss developing a core infrastructure for action and will hear from CMS Administrator Mark McClellan, M.D., on the quality strategy at CMS.
