Former Republican State Senator Steve Stivers filed petitions Dec. 17 to run for the 15th Ohio Congressional District.
Stivers will challenge incumbent Democrat Mary Jo Kilroy, whom he narrowly lost to in the 2008 election.
"Kilroy may talk a good game about how she wants to protect Ohioans and represent their needs, but she just doesn't deliver," Stivers said. "The people want someone who won't just talk the talk, they want a representative who will walk the walk. I'll do that in Congress and I'll work hard each day to make my constituents proud of the work I accomplish."
