Boehner, Cantor, Pence all Sign Club’s ‘Repeal It’ Pledge VIDEO

WASHINGTON – The Club for Growth today announced receipt of signed and witnessed ‘Repeal It’ pledges from House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.), and House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-Ind.), the three highest-ranking Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“We’re thrilled to have the unanimous support of the top Republican leaders in the House,” said Club President Chris Chocola. “The ‘Repeal It’ campaign has already been a tremendous success, clarifying the debate about health care for the 2010 elections, and forcing Republicans and Democrats alike to annunciate their principles in that debate.”

“I thank Congressmen Boehner, Cantor, and Pence for their leadership. We hope their pledges will lead to unanimous support for the Repeal It project from the House Republican Conference, and finally spur Senate Republican leaders to join the cause, too.”

To date, ‘Repeal It’ pledges have been signed by 60 members of Congress and 229 candidates for the House and Senate. ###
