In 2004, I was invited to have dinner with President Bush.
So, I made the trip from CA to DC and tried to meet with the state senators. Barbara Boxer was
holding a “constituent tea” and so I went to it! I was hoping to be able to discuss an issue
regarding health issues regarding development of cures for diseased!
It was not a “TEA”... It was a lecture and she was telling us all how wonderful she was would
not listen to anything any one there said. She only asked if we wanted our picture taken with her.
I Tried to tell her I really wanted a few minutes to explain this health issue affecting here
constituents. She said, she did not want to discuss that , But “do you want to have your picture
taken with me?” ... No! I did not! She does not listen to the people she is supposed to represent...
Why do we pay her? What do we pay her for?
