San Francisco, CA -- Today, John Dennis, entrepreneur and candidate for the California 8th Congressional District, issued the following statement on today's court ruling which allows U.S. states to proceed with their lawsuit that seeks to overturn President Barack Obama's landmark healthcare reform law:

“While this is only a first step, it's an important ruling to overturn a poorly written and poorly conceived legislation addressing the nation's growing health care costs.
Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues should pay the political price for ignoring the public and forcing the wrong solution of mandatory health care insurance on Americans who are already burned by Congress’ excessive taxation, failed policies and reckless spending.

"American families are having enough problems keeping food on the table and lights on in their homes. As your next Congressman, I will help our families and small business owners by working to immediately repeal the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010. Under Nancy Pelosi’s leadership, Congress has done nothing but take care of their Fat Cat CEO friends in the insurance business and special interest groups that continue to buy their support through campaign donations.

I believe that the courts will eventually conclude that the Pelosi and her colleague's unconstitutionally imposed one the most drastic intrusions into our private lives in recent memory, which will likely increase in health care costs, and generate huge profits for their friends at the big insurance and drug corporations. We need to start over in January with the new 112th Congress and find equitable health care reforms that address and provide reasonable solutions for all Americans.”
