The Meg Whitman for Governor campaign released a new 30-second statewide television ad titled "Again" focusing on Jerry Brown's CNN interview where he admitted he didn't have a plan when he ran for Governor of California and it was all a lie.
Please see the following statement made by Meg Whitman at an event this morning in Salinas. Whitman's statement came in response to yesterday's news report that former Governor Gray Davis believes Governor Jerry Brown will go to voters with a tax increase if he is re-elected on Tuesday. Gray Davis is Brown's former top advisor and political confidante:
"I saw today that former Governor Gray Davis says that if Jerry Brown is elected, we will have a special election in the spring to ask voters for even higher taxes. Talk about March Madness! More taxes in a recession. And Gray Davis ought to know; he was Jerry Brown's right hand man for years. Voters, you are warned.
